Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice example of the rare Ottoman Turkish "Type 2 Infantry Grenade", apparently based loosely on the British "Mills" bomb design used during WWI. The grenade measures about 5 inches long and 2.9" wide, quite large for a grenade, and most likely very heavy when filled.

Unlike most grenade designs, the body is not made from iron or steel, but instead looks t be made entirely from cast zinc, with a brass fuse housing. It has Turkish Arabic writing on the side, which we are unfortunately unable to translate.
